LLM Context Bridge · last updated 16 October 2026 · applies to version 1.0.x

LLM Context Bridge makes no network requests of its own. It has no analytics and no account, and it never sends anything to Sixteen Bridges. Your conversation goes from your browser to the AI assistant you choose, and nowhere else.

What it reads

When you click an assistant in the extension's panel, it reads the text of the conversation on the page you're on: ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Perplexity or Grok. It reads text only, not images, files or attachments, and it reads nothing until you click.

What it stores, and for how long

To carry the conversation to a new tab, it saves one handoff item in the extension's local storage on your device: the conversation text with a short handoff note, which assistant it is for, and the time. The new tab removes the item as soon as it picks it up. Handoffs older than 30 seconds are ignored and removed. If the new tab never loads, the item stays on your device until your next transfer replaces it or you remove the extension.

Your clipboard

On Gemini, the extension copies the conversation to your clipboard and pastes it from there, which replaces whatever you had copied. On the other sites it only uses the clipboard if it can't paste into the page directly, and then it shows a note asking you to paste.

Where your conversation goes

Only to the assistant you pick. The extension opens that assistant's website in a new tab, pastes the conversation in and sends it as a message. From then on it is handled under that assistant's own privacy policy, the same as anything you type there yourself.

Permissions

  • Storage, to hold the single handoff item described above.
  • Access to chatgpt.com, chat.openai.com, claude.ai, gemini.google.com, perplexity.ai and grok.com, to read the conversation on the page you leave and paste it into the page you go to. It does not run on any other site.

What it doesn't do

  • No analytics, tracking or advertising.
  • No selling or sharing of data with anyone.
  • No account and no sign-in.
  • No code loaded from the internet.

Chrome Web Store

The use of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Changes

If a future version changes any of this, for example an optional sync feature, this page will change first, with a new date at the top.
